They can be claimed online through its official website and will be valid until Dec 31, 2025.
Half of them can be used at participating heartland merchants and hawkers while the remainder is valid at eight supermarket chains with roughly 400 outlets nationwide: Ang Mo Supermarket, Cold Storage, Giant Singapore, HAO Mart, NTUC FairPrice, Prime Supermarket, Sheng Siong and U Stars Supermarket.
These vouchers mark the sixth distribution under the CDC voucher scheme, which was introduced in 2020 to help Singaporean households manage living costs and support hawkers and heartland merchants affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Two rounds amounting to S$800 were distributed last year, with 97% of the country’s 1.3 million households claiming them.
Another S$300 set was issued in January 2025. Some 97.3% of households have received this round of vouchers as of Monday. Of these, around 83.4%, worth over S$324 million, have been redeemed, as reported by The Straits Times.
At the launch event for the latest tranche on Tuesday, Prime Minister and Finance Minister Lawrence Wong noted that while inflation in Singapore has eased more quickly than in many other countries, prices remain elevated and households are still feeling the strain.
He added that the vouchers are part of a broader set of support measures introduced in the national budget.
For the 2025 financial year, which runs from April 1 to March 31 next year, Singaporeans will also get SG60 vouchers worth S$600-800 in July and another S$300 in CDC vouchers next January.
A typical family of four with two young children could receive around S$5,000 in total support this financial year, according to Wong.
The PM emphasized that this is not a “one-off exercise” and the government will continue to offer support for as long as necessary.
“We will continue to review and update and strengthen our social support system across different areas – be it housing, healthcare, education or retirement,” he said, as quoted by CNA.
“All these updates, changes, improvements to policies, will help to provide Singaporeans with greater assurance through every life stage.”
