Lucas Loh, Group CEO of Nam Long, said this collaboration reflects both parties’ shared commitment to delivering sustainable, high-quality developments that improve living standards for Vietnamese communities. Tokyu’s involvement brings valuable international expertise to Izumi City and reinforces Nam Long’s long-term vision to create vibrant, livable townships.
“We appreciate the trust Tokyu Corporation has placed in Nam Long and look forward to shaping future communities that foster a high quality of life for generations,” Lucas added.
Ogata Yoshinori, Executive Officer of Tokyu Corporation’s International Business Division, described Izumi City as a modern township designed to meet growing housing demand in Southern Vietnam. It offers residents a green, connected lifestyle with convenient access to Ho Chi Minh City and nearby satellite cities.
“By combining the strengths of Nam Long, Hankyu Hanshin Properties, and Tokyu Corporation, we aim to develop a model township that will be an ideal place for Vietnamese families to live and grow,” Ogata said.

Izumi City spans 170 hectares in Long Hung Ward, Dong Nai Province, within one of southern Vietnam’s most dynamic economic zones. The township benefits from excellent connectivity to major infrastructure, including National Highway 51, the Ho Chi Minh City–Long Thanh–Dau Giay Expressway, and the upcoming Long Thanh International Airport.
The project’s initial phase will deliver approximately 2,900 low-rise housing units. Residents will enjoy a comprehensive ecosystem of amenities such as schools, healthcare facilities, commercial areas, and entertainment options.
The participation of Tokyu Corporation, alongside Hankyu Hanshin Properties—both leading Japanese companies with extensive experience in urban development in Japan and Vietnam—significantly strengthens the Japan-Vietnam joint venture, laying a solid foundation for Izumi City’s future success.
