Vietnamese electric vehicle maker VinFast posted record revenue and EV deliveries in 2025, driven by strong global demand for its products and rapid expansion across key markets.
The firm delivered 196,919 electric cars last year, up 102% from 2024, and generated VND90.43 trillion (US$3.6 billion), a 105.4% year-on-year increase, according to its unaudited financial results released on Monday.
This exceeded the target of at least doubling deliveries from the previous year and marked the highest annual delivery volume in VinFast’s history.
Some 86,557 electric cars were delivered in the last quarter of 2025 alone, up 127% from the previous quarter and 63% year-on-year. Green brand and EC Van vehicles accounted for about 49% of deliveries during the period.
International markets continued to post solid growth, representing roughly 18% of total global deliveries.
The company also reported strong growth in its electric motorbike and e-bike segment, with 171,962 units being delivered in Q4 of 2025, up 43% from the previous quarter and 452% year-on-year. For the full year, the segment’s deliveries reached 406,498 units, representing a 473% increase compared with 2024.
Revenue growth remained robust throughout 2025. Revenue hit VND39.41 trillion in Q4 alone, soaring 138.9% year-on-year and 117.7% from the previous quarter.
As of Dec. 31, 2025, VinFast had expanded its global retail network to 424 showrooms worldwide, enabling customers in many markets to access and purchase its EVs more easily.
