Singapore’s property developer Keppel eyes to expand its investment in Vietnam to contribute to the country’s sustainable development.
Keppel CFO Kevin Chng, in a meeting with National Assembly (NA) Chairman Tran Thanh Man Tuesday, highlighted that Vietnam is one of the countries where the company allocates a significant portion of its investment resources.
Aiming to expand its investment activities into sustainable development areas such as renewable energy and data infrastructure, the company wishes to receive more support from the Vietnamese authorities to boost the effectiveness of its capital and further contribute to the nation’s sustainable development, the CFO said.

Man, who was holding meetings with several major Singaporean corporations as part of his official visit to the country, praised the group’s effective cooperation in Vietnam, particularly in infrastructure, real estate, and renewable energy, as well as its significant contributions to the country’s urban development and its role in enhancing economic and investment relations between the two nations.
Vietnam is becoming an attractive destination for many investors, including those in infrastructure development, adding Vietnamese companies are eager to collaborate with Singaporean enterprises like Keppel, particularly in infrastructure, industrial parks, urban development, and clean energy to meet Vietnam’s sustainable development needs, he added.
Vietnam will continue to support and facilitate the successful and effective business operations of Keppel, he affirmed.
