Vietnam gasoline prices Thursday afternoon recovered slightly after hitting the lowest in five years last week.
The popular fuel RON95 went up 4.14% to VND19,630.
Biofuel E5 RON92 gained 4% to VND19,230.
Diesel increased by 2.88% to VND17,520.
Regulators said that the global oil market over the past seven days has been influenced by several factors, including the U.S. Energy Information Administration reporting an increase in U.S. crude oil inventories; the Trump administration altering taxes on goods from trading partners; and an expected increase in OPEC+ oil production in the near future.
RON95 surged 5% to $77.3 per barrel, while diesel rose 3% to $80.90 per barrel.
