Gasoline prices in Vietnam dropped Thursday afternoon amid a decline in global rates.
The most popular fuel RON95 decreased by 1.15% to VND24,070 (US$0.91) per liter.
Biofuel E5 RON92 fell 2.77% to VND23,130.
Diesel declined 0.98% to VND27,220.
Global fuel market in recent days continued to be affected by the Middle East conflict. The Strait of Hormuz remains blocked, while the Federal Reserve has signaled that it may raise interest rates to curb inflation, according to the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance.

These factors have caused global fuel prices to trend lower compared to seven days earlier. RON95 gasoline fell 3.4% to $130.8 per barrel, while diesel prices dropped 5% to $146 per barrel.
