He became chairman in February last year, having joined the airline in June 2023 as a director.
He had earlier served as deputy general director of Sacombank from 2012.
With four decades of experience in finance and banking, he was tasked with spearheading Bamboo Airways’ restructuring efforts.
He played a pivotal role, contributing to the airline’s restructuring roadmap, business model, fleet structure, personnel organization, and financial capabilities.
This year Bamboo Airways has reported an encouraging performance, particularly on major routes and key tourism destinations.
Its flight load factor has been 90% in June, the airline said.
It operates a narrow-body fleet consisting of Airbus A320 and A321 and recent additions of a leased Boeing 737-900E.
