Under the partnership, 2C2P and M-Pay will deploy a payment orchestration solution, Payment Air Controller (PACO), enabling a wide range of payment methods at checkout.
These include cards, digital wallets, QR payments and direct debit options, catering to diverse consumer preferences across Asia.
With a single API integration, SPA can route transactions across multiple acquirers and apply smart retry logic to improve cost efficiency, an important factor as the airline expands its route network.
The system is compliant with PCI DSS Level 1 standards, ensuring high levels of payment security, and integrates with global distribution systems such as Amadeus and Sabre to support expansion to markets in the region including China, Malaysia, India, Singapore, South Korea, and Thailand.

Travel demand to Southeast Asia is rising, with revenue increasing 18% year-on-year to US$860 million, according to the latest 2H 2025 Strategy & Investment Outlook Report by Velocity Ventures and Pear Anderson. Vietnam remains a leading market, with international arrivals in March 46% higher than pre-pandemic levels in 2019.
However, airlines face challenges including limited payment options, fraud risks, and complex reconciliation processes. An IDC Infobrief commissioned by 2C2P and Antom projects strong growth in Vietnam’s digital payments market through 2028. As a payment solutions provider, 2C2P supports airlines like SPA in addressing these challenges through localized and scalable technologies.
Worachat Luxkanalode, CEO-elect of 2C2P, said travelers increasingly expect seamless and localized booking experiences, adding that the partnership aims to improve accessibility for customers across Vietnam and the broader region.

Sun PhuQuoc Airways is Vietnam’s first airline named after an island, reflecting its focus on Phu Quoc as a key destination. As a full-service carrier within the Sun Group ecosystem, the airline promotes a “resort-in-the-sky” concept, combining transportation with a broader travel experience.

2C2P operates a regional payments network covering more than 600,000 payment points, while M-Pay provides electronic payment gateway and e-wallet services in Vietnam under licenses from the State Bank of Vietnam.

M-Pay Trade and Technology Services Joint Stock Company (M-Pay) is an intermediary payment services provider operating in Vietnam. In 2016, it received its license from the State Bank of Vietnam to provide intermediary payment services (IPS) including: Electronic payment gateway service; Support service for authorized collection and disbursement; and e-wallet.
