Guo, 30, purchased the newly built 13,500-square-foot (1,254-square-meter) home at a 31% discount from its initial asking price of US$43 million in January 2024, when it was first listed, The Wall Street Journal reported, citing listings website Zillow and sources familiar with the transaction.
Set on 1.2 acres (4,856 square meters) of land, the five-bedroom residence features a cantilevered glass living room with sweeping city views, along with an outdoor deck, an infinity pool, a sunken fire pit, vast gardens and a citrus grove.

Guo entered the billionaire ranks in April when Forbes valued her fortune at US$1.3 billion, surpassing pop star Taylor Swift as the world’s youngest self-made woman billionaire.
While her wealth stems mostly from Scale AI, which she co-founded with Alexandr Wang, the world’s youngest self-made billionaire, Guo has been known to be a savvy investor and has said that investing in real estate is probably the best way for people to make their first $1 million.
“Long-term, real estate always goes up, too,” she told Fortune in a 2023 interview.
The latest purchase adds to Guo’s growing portfolio, which includes two luxury homes that were worth a combined over $10 million, according to a June estimate by real estate listing website Realtor.com.
One of them is a four-bedroom condo in Miami, Florida, that Guo bought in 2021 for $6.7 million. The unit is located in a luxury building equipped with a two-car garage, indoor resort-style pool, gym, movie theater, rooftop helipad, and sweeping views of both the beach and city skyline.
The other is a modern farmhouse also in Los Angeles, purchased in 2024 for $4.2 million. Built in 2018, the roughly 4,700-square-foot home includes five bedrooms, six bathrooms, a rooftop deck, a dipping pool, and a screening room, according to Robb Report magazine.
Besides Scale AI, Guo has launched multiple ventures, including Passes, a platform that helps digital creators earn money through subscriptions, livestreams, personal interactions, and online storefronts.
She is also known to lead a relatively frugal lifestyle despite her billionaire status. She often drives an old Honda Civic to work, shops on budget-friendly website Shein, and owns only a few designer outfits reserved for special events, as reported by Entrepreneur.
