Three other Vietnamese billionaires, namely Vietjet chairwoman Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao, Techcombank chairman Ho Hung Anh and Hoa Phat Group chairman Tran Dinh Long, also saw their net worth decline during the same period.
These decreases were caused by drops in the share prices of their respective companies.
However, Nguyen Dang Quang, chairman of Masan Group, saw his wealth increase by $100 million, driven by a 7% rise in his conglomerate’s shares.
