Runners from Vietnam and overseas are expected to gather in Hanoi for the marathon on Oct. 5.
The 2025 kit references the Khue Van Cac Pavilion at the Temple of Literature, an emblem of learning in the former Thang Long Citadel, and uses an “intersecting curves” motif to suggest movement and connection. Items include the race shirt, drawstring bag, a marathon finisher T-shirt, and a finisher medal using the same visual language.
The finisher medal combines a stylized Khue Van Cac with Lac bird motifs and contemporary graphic elements. It is intended to reflect both heritage and modern design.

PR Sport returns to the fourth edition as the official apparel provider.
Techcombank says it will integrate AI features into community sports activities linked to the marathon. One initiative, the “AI Transformation Movement,” will generate short, personalized videos for participants based on an uploaded photo.
Each video is designed to depict a runner’s progress and finish-line moment, with the aim of encouraging healthy lifestyles and participation in sport.

Sunrise Events Vietnam, the organizer, will also provide a free post-race personalized video for all athletes, including Kids Run participants.
Cameras placed at several points along the route, covering prominent landmarks, will record footage used to assemble these videos.
Runners can retrieve their videos after the event using facial recognition and their BIB numbers.

The 2025 course has been certified by the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS) and the Vietnam Athletics Federation. These certifications enable results to be used for entry applications to major international events, including the Abbott World Marathon Majors (e.g., Boston, Chicago, London).
According to the organizers, this is the fourth consecutive year the race has obtained both certifications.
