Citing Taiwan’s Mirror Weekly, The Star reported that the property acquired by Chen, 43, offers stunning lake views.
Her real estate portfolio also includes two other high-end properties in Taiwan: an apartment near Bihu Park valued at NT$200 million and a townhouse worth NT$100 million, as noted by 8days.
Reports indicate that Chen currently lives in a multi-million dollar apartment with her Malaysian husband Alvin Lai and their seven-year-old son.
This journey marks a significant rise from her modest beginnings, where she once shared a small apartment with her S.H.E. bandmates, Selina Jen and Hebe Tian, to becoming a successful real estate investor.
Chen made her debut in the entertainment industry in 2001 as a member of the girl group S.H.E.
In 2021, she was named Taiwan’s highest-paid female artist, with earnings estimated at NT$100 million, primarily from brand endorsements and performances. Most recently, she won the fourth season of the Chinese reality show “Sisters Who Make Waves” and performed a concert in Malaysia this August.
