Singapore has been ranked the top choice globally for entrepreneurs moving their wealth and for personal relocation, according to a report by HSBC.
In the bank’s recently-released Global Entrepreneurial Wealth Report 2025, 15% of entrepreneurs cited Singapore as the top destination for their wealth, ahead of the U.K. and Switzerland (11% each).
The city-state was also named the top destination for personal relocation by 12% of the respondents.
Among those currently in Singapore, only one in five respondents is considering moving their wealth elsewhere. Entrepreneurs in the country also rank bottom for contemplating a personal move abroad.
As many as 63% of Singapore-based entrepreneurs also live across multiple markets, above the global average of 56%, which HSBC said “underscores the city-state’s international reach.” The country also attracted the largest inflows of wealth from its neighbours, especially Indonesia and Malaysia, said the bank.
