Property developer Novaland’s CEO Duong Van Bac receives a monthly salary of VND400 million (US$15,200).
Bac is also a director of the company.
Last year he was first the chief financial officer and then deputy CEO before becoming the CEO in November.

The 40-year-old has experience in finance and property, and specializes in raising funds, investment and valuation.
Novaland has said Bac made significant contributions to the company’s restructuring process.
Other executives with high monthly earnings in the first half this year were deputy CEOs Tran Thi Cao Van (VND233 million) and Cao Tran Duy Nam (VND217 million).
They were also appointed last November.
Chairman Bui Thanh Nhon received VND100 million a month, unchanged from last year.
Bac also received stock bonuses and discounted stock purchase options for Novaland shares.
In May Novaland approved a plan to issue 48.7 million shares, equivalent to 2.5% of outstanding shares, as bonuses for senior employees.
The CEO received nearly 4.5 million of them while the remaining shares were distributed among 24 senior executives, with each receiving 1.5 to 2.8 million.
In the first half the company reported losses of over VND666 billion.
