Under the agreement, Nam Long will hold a 51% stake in the joint venture, while Nishi-Nippon Railroad will own 49%. The Japanese partner is expected to participate in governance and management, contributing expertise in design, operations, and technical standards.
The deal marks a transition from project-level cooperation to a corporate-level partnership, following more than a decade of collaboration between the two sides.

After the agreement, Nam Long ADC aims to accelerate expansion in response to a widening gap between housing supply and demand. Current demand is estimated at around 100,000 units per year, while supply remains limited. In the first quarter of 2026, only four projects with fewer than 580 units were completed, according to the Ministry of Construction.
Under the partnership, Nishi-Nippon Railroad is expected to support Nam Long ADC in capital mobilization, project development, and quality control. The company will also introduce Japanese construction standards and management practices, while deploying expert teams to assist in design optimization and material selection.
The cooperation is also expected to support land acquisition and the expansion of the project pipeline in the coming years.

According to Kwang, the participation of Nishi-Nippon Railroad as a strategic shareholder will not only provide additional capital but also facilitate the transfer of Japanese governance standards and advanced construction technologies.
“This will enable Nam Long ADC to enhance the quality and efficiency of our EHome and EHomeS products, contributing to addressing the pressing social housing and welfare needs in Vietnam,” he added.
