Citing HK01, Znews reported that Tam’s tea shop, which began serving customers in January, is styled after traditional Hong Kong decor. In addition to a selection of tea beverages, the shop offers a variety of food items, including fried chicken, French toast, and satay beef noodles.
Despite managing the high volume of customers on her own, Tam remains approachable, posing for photos with fans. However, many have noted that in pictures taken at the shop, she appears visibly tired, looking thinner and older. They have also commented that her skin looks dull and her face shows signs of sleep deprivation.
Numerous well-wishers have urged the beauty queen to prioritize her health and get more rest.
Tam, 53, began her career with Hong Kong’s broadcasting network TVB after her beauty pageant victory, starring in the network’s drama series such as “Night Journey” and “Nothing to Declare” before also pursuing a music career, as reported by the South China Morning Post.
She married Choi in 2007. The couple initially opened a small snack shop in 2014 before expanding into the tea house business. However, according to Dimsum Daily, their brand’s last stores closed in 2024.
