In addition to her costly vacations, Skye’s designer wardrobe and remarkable collection of luxury handbags carry hefty price tags. The fashion enthusiast is often seen at Paris Fashion Week, sporting brands like Saint Laurent.
Beyond her shopping sprees, the mother of two also invests millions in extravagant birthday parties for her children.
When her daughter Rome turned one, the former real estate agent hosted a “Rome” themed celebration, featuring backdrops resembling the Colosseum and a petting zoo.
She maintains a low profile
Despite her socialite status, Skye keeps her personal life relatively private. It’s unclear how she met her husband Don Rufus Hankey or when they married, though he first appeared on her Instagram in 2020.
On her husband’s birthday last year, Skye posted a message on Instagram alongside a photo of the couple. “Happy Birthday, Rufus. To the best husband, the best dad, and my absolute best friend. We’re so incredibly lucky to have you. Love you more than words can say,” she wrote.
The couple have two children – daughter Rome and son Don.
She handles high-end real estate transactions
Skye is a real-estate agent with Premier Realty Services, a California-based realty company.
In 2022, Skye assisted her husband in selling a US$28.5 million Beverly Hills estate previously owned by American actor Mark Wahlberg.
The Hankeys dedicated approximately four years to renovating the property, they stated. To improve the main home’s canyon views, they demolished walls and added more windows. They also revamped the floors and ceilings, modernized the appliances, and incorporated smart home technology, according to Kane Bridge News.

Skye’s husband Rufus used to work as a general sales manager at Midway Ford, a car dealership once managed by his late grandfather.
After five years, Rufus then served as a board director at Westlake Finance, a finance company under his father’s Hankey Group.
Rufus has reportedly since established his own housing development company, Knight Development Group, under the Hankey Group.
