Rachel Chung, a 34-year-old influencer embroiled in a high-profile affair scandal with Hong Kong Tai Sang Bank chairman Patrick Ma, is reportedly renting a property on the Peak for HK$150,000 (US$19,253) per month.
According to sources, Chung is leasing a detached house on Plantation Road owned by HSBC. The 2,800-square-foot property features four bedrooms, an additional suite, and three bathrooms, as reported by Dimsum Daily.
A recent social media video showed her spending time with her children in the home’s spacious living room, complete with an elegant staircase.
Chung has also established an advertising and market research business that reportedly operates from an office in the Tai Sang Bank Building in Central, a property believed to be owned by Ma’s company.
In an interview with East Weekly, part of Sing Tao News Corporation, Chung confirmed her nine-year relationship with Ma, 66. Her comment expressing indifference to being labeled a mistress has sparked backlash online.

The couple reportedly shares four children, and Ma is said to have gifted Chung a HK$90 million property on Macdonnell Road in the past. Despite the public criticism, the pair’s relationship remains intact, with reports of plans for a European vacation.
Ma, a member of one of Hong Kong’s prominent “Five Great Tycoons” families from the 1960s, has served as the chairman of Tai Sang Bank since 2019. He has been married to Lisa Kung Ma for over 30 years.
