The tree handover ceremony took place at Lam Vien Square in Da Lat City on March 14, with the participation of the Da Lat City Youth Union, along with Imexpharm’s leadership team and staff. During the ceremony, Imexpharm representatives presented 500 coniferous trees, each between 1.5 and 2 meters in height, to the Da Lat Youth Union. The donation contributes to ongoing efforts in afforestation, environmental protection, and climate change mitigation.
The program also aligns with the Vietnamese government’s “For a Green Vietnam” initiative and marks Youth Month, the 94th anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, and the 50th anniversary of Da Lat City’s liberation.

Speaking at the event, a representative of the Da Lat City Youth Union highlighted that over the years, the city has carried out various practical initiatives to protect the environment, such as “Volunteer Saturdays” and “Green Sundays”, aimed at building a green, clean, civilized, and safe city while reducing plastic waste. “Imexpharm’s participation in this initiative is a meaningful extension of these efforts, helping to amplify the message of raising community awareness and encouraging collective action in promoting environmental protection models in Da Lat and throughout Vietnam,” the representative stated.
Nguyen An Duy, Deputy General Director and Chief Financial Officer of Imexpharm, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to integrating business growth with social responsibility. “This tree donation is part of our broader effort to promote a healthier environment and enhance the green, clean, and beautiful image of Da Lat for both residents and visitors,” he said.
He also noted that as climate change affects both the environment and public health, pharmaceutical companies must adapt through sustainable development strategies. Imexpharm has invested in EU-GMP-certified manufacturing systems and incorporated sustainability into its production and supply chain operations.

Across its factory clusters, including three EU-GMP-certified factory clusters and 12 EU-GMP-certified production lines, Imexpharm has implemented energy-saving measures, optimized material use, and maintained strict controls on emissions, wastewater, and waste management. These efforts align with international ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) standards and support the company’s transition to a more sustainable manufacturing model.
In 2025, Imexpharm plans to install rooftop solar energy systems at its factory clusters, marking a step forward in clean energy adoption and green production.
Following the tree donation ceremony, 470 Imexpharm employees participated in a walk around Xuan Huong Lake to raise awareness of environmental protection and public health. The activity was part of the 2025 Sales & Marketing Congress under the theme “Tien Phong Dan Loi” (Pioneering the Way Forward), reinforcing Imexpharm’s ongoing community engagement efforts.
In March 2024, the company collaborated with Nha Trang coastal city that borders Da Lat to plant trees along the city’s Ring Road 2, contributing to urban greening efforts.
Over nearly five decades, Imexpharm has integrated corporate social responsibility into its operations, supporting initiatives such as free medical programs for underprivileged communities, scholarship funding, infrastructure projects, and public health programs.
The company’s contributions to sustainability and social responsibility have been recognized through various awards. On Dec. 20, 2024, Imexpharm’s EU-GMP-certified IMP3 and IMP4 factories were included in the Binh Duong Green Book 2024 for their environmental impact. Additionally, the company was named among the Top 50 Corporate Sustainability Awards (CSA 2024) by Nhip Cau Dau Tu Magazine in August 2024 and received recognition at the Saigon Times CSR 2024 “Invest in a Sustainable Future” Awards in November 2024.
