She was one of the pioneers in bringing designer labels to Thailand, according to the South China Morning Post.
She owns Saint Honorè (Bangkok), which distributes French luxury fashion brand Hermès in the country, and co-owns Meister Technik, the official distributor of German high-end car brand Audi in Thailand.
A self-proclaimed shopaholic, she reportedly has her own collection of luxury bags and clothes from the French brand and a fondness for jewelry.
Aside from her wealth and entrepreneurship, Madam Pang has frequently made headlines as a key figure in Thai football, playing crucial roles with both its men’s and women’s teams over the last decade.
Under her leadership, the women’s national team competed in the 2015 and 2019 World Cups, while the men’s team won consecutive AFF Cup (now ASEAN Cup) titles in 2020 and 2022.
The heiress personally rewarded the men’s team with 26 million baht (US$750,000) in cash for their 2022 AFF Championship, as reported by Thai newspaper The Nation.
During the 2023 World Cup, she offered the national football team 1 million baht for each point they earned in the second round qualifiers.
She helped Thai professional football club Port FC become a force in the Thai League during her tenure as its president.
While with the club, she reportedly organized a team bonding event where players and staff walked away with lavish prizes like Rolex watches, iPhone 13s, and designer bags.
Last February, she made history as the first woman elected as president of the Football Association of Thailand, winning the majority of votes.
“Football is the people’s sport, and it is the hope of the entire Thai population,” she said at the time.
