Vietnam gasoline prices plunged to a five-week low Thursday afternoon after hitting an 11-week peak last week.
The popular fuel RON95 dropped 2.14% to VND 20,160 (US$0.76) per liter.
Biofuel E5 RON92 fell 1.85% to VND19,610.
Diesel declined 0.27% to VND18,650.
In the last seven days, fuel prices were influenced by several factors such as OPEC+ increasing oil exports; escalating geopolitical tensions in the Middle East; and Ukraine continuing attacks on Russian energy facilities, according to the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
RON95 dropped 2.7% to $80.5 per barre, while diesel fell 0.2% to $87.9.
