Gasoline prices in Vietnam on Thursday afternoon fell to the lowest since Oct. 3, 2024.
The popular gasoline RON95 decreased by 3.36% to VND20,400 (US$0.80).
Biofuel E5 RON92 declined by 3.34% to VND19,960.
Diesel dropped 3.27% to VND18,330.
Regulators said that fuel prices in the last seven days were affected by OPEC+’s decision to pump up production in April, U.S.’ new tariffs on Mexico, Canada and China and their retaliation.
Gasolines fell 4.4-4.8% while oils dropped 3.5-4.9%.
RON95 is now at $82.3 per barrel and diesel at $86.7.
