Gasoline and diesel prices both increased Thursday afternoon after falling last week.
The popular fuel RON95 rose 0.97% to VND20,740 (US$0.81) per liter.
Biofuel E5 RON92 increased by 1.21% to VND20,050.
Diesel gained 0.64% to VND18,750.
Regulators said that fuel prices in the last seven days were affected by a decline in U.S. crude oil inventories, the World Bank raising its 2025 economic growth forecast for China, and the ongoing military conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
RON95 went up by 1.1-1.2% in the period while oils rose 0.8-1%. RON95 is now priced at $84.6 per barrel and diesel at $89.5.
