Vietnam’s gasoline and diesel prices fell Thursday afternoon after last week’s gain.
The popular fuel RON95 declined 0.15% from last Thursday to VND20,540 (US$0.78) per liter.
Biofuel E5 RON92 dropped 0.20% to VND19,800.
Diesel fell 0.20% to VND19,820.
Globally the petroleum market over the past seven days had been affected by several factors, including OPEC+’s agreement to slightly increase oil production in December and the reopening of the U.S. government, according to the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
RON95 fell 0.3% to $82.4 per barrel, while diesel dropped 0.3% to $93.35.
