Gasoline and diesel prices in Vietnam went up marginally Thursday afternoon.
The popular fuel RON95 rose 0.72% to VND21,070.
Biofuel E5 RON92 gained 0.73% to VND20,590.
Diesel increased by 0.10% to VND19,070.
Regulators said that fuel prices in the last seven days were affected by U.S. sanctions on Iran’s oil, signs of increased tension in the Middle East, and China’s retaliation to U.S.’s latest tariff hikes.
Gasolines went up 0.3% in the period while oils added 0.4-2.4%.
RON95 is now at $86.4 per barrel and diesel at $91.3.
