The U.S. dollar rose against the Vietnamese dong on the black market Saturday morning.
The greenback went up 0.13% to VND26,420 at unofficial exchange points.
Vietcombank maintained its rate at VND26,120.
The State Bank of Vietnam kept its reference rate unchanged at VND24,898.
The dollar has risen 3.4% against the dong since the beginning of the year.
Globally the Russian rouble strengthened past 81 to the U.S. dollar, supported by rising oil prices, reaching its highest level since June 28, 2024.
Since mid-January, the dollar has fallen 9% against a basket of currencies to its lowest level in three years.
