BGSW’s operation in Vietnam contributes in various strategic domains, including mobility solutions, artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), automation, semiconductors, software engineering, digital transformation, and business services.
The anniversary celebration, themed “Flow of Imagineering,” highlights BGSW Vietnam’s journey, where imagination and engineering come together to create technologies that bring value to global customers and enhance Vietnam’s presence in the global innovation landscape.

15 years of growth and achievement
BGSW Vietnam, which started from humble beginnings, has evolved into a hub of innovation and talent. The company has expanded to three state-of-the-art offices, including Etown Campus and OfficeHaus in Ho Chi Minh City and Capital Place in Hanoi. These offices, designed with open workspaces, collaborative zones, and modern amenities, support a dynamic working environment for over 4,000 associates.

The company’s success has been recognized by several prestigious awards, such as “Great Place to Work” for three consecutive years, “Vietnam Best Place to Work” for ten consecutive years, and the No. 1 ranking in Universum’s 2024 survey of “Most Attractive Employers for Vietnamese Students.” These accolades highlight both BGSW Vietnam’s growth in the tech industry and its ability to attract and retain a high-quality workforce.
Innovation and technological advancement
Over the last 15 years, BGSW Vietnam has transitioned from a software development center to a key technology and innovation hub for Bosch in Southeast Asia. The company not only meets customer needs but also empowers Vietnamese engineers to directly contribute to technologies shaping the future.
This vision is supported by increased investments in innovation. In the last three years, BGSW Vietnam’s innovation budget has grown more than eightfold, focusing primarily on AI, automation, virtualization, cybersecurity, and software-defined vehicles (SDV).
As of 2025, BGSW Vietnam holds 81 patents, with key innovations in safety and driver assistance systems, self-driving technologies, and AI. In addition to creating technological value, the company is helping to advance Vietnam’s intellectual property ecosystem by joining the Technology and Innovation Support Centers (TISCs) of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).

At BGSW Vietnam, people are central to the company’s growth strategy. Currently, 81% of leadership positions are held by Vietnamese associates, with plans to increase this figure to over 85% by 2026. In partnership with Primavera, a global employee-driven social initiative at Bosch, BGSW Vietnam has also carried out community projects that make education more accessible and foster pride and solidarity among Bosch employees.
