Chinese businessman Wang Xiaofei, the ex-husband of the late Taiwanese actress Barbie Hsu, is reportedly worth hundreds of millions of dollars.

Citing 163, Znews reported that the market value of Ma Liu Ji, a hot pot chain owned by Wang, has exceeded 8.5 billion yuan (US$1.2 billion), with the business continuing to thrive. Wang reportedly holds between 25% and 36% of the shares in the company, therefore, the value of his stake is estimated to be between US$30 million and US$43 million.
Wang is also believed to own several other assets. When he divorced Hsu, media outlets reported that the couple requested the court to divide assets worth NT$950 million (US$31.7 million). However, their lawyer did not provide details on how the assets were split.
Additionally, Wang is known to be an heir to a prominent business. His mother Zhang Lan is the founder of South Beauty Food & Beverage Co. Ltd., which operates two distinct restaurant brands and more than 50 locations across China, according to China Daily. The South China Morning Post reported that in 2014, South Beauty sold 82.7% of its shares for an estimated US$300 million, highlighting its prominence and value.
Wang, 44, was married to Hsu from 2011 until their divorce in 2021. Hsu later reunited with her former boyfriend, South Korean musician DJ Koo, and the two married in Feb. 2022. Wang, meanwhile, registered his marriage to 26-year-old businesswoman and online influencer Mandy Ma in May 2024.
Hsu passed away in February of this year at the age of 49 in Japan, due to complications related to pneumonia.
