Dung studied at the National Economics University in Hanoi and was among the top 10 candidates with the highest scores in that year’s university entrance examination, according to Dan Tri newspaper.
After graduating, he went on to receive a master’s scholarship at the University of Liverpool in the United Kingdom. He has experience in the banking sector.
His mother Kieu Tung Anh is the CEO of Nguyet Anh Group, a diversified company established in 2001 with interests in property, construction and energy.
Dung chose to pursue his own path by borrowing capital to acquire a bankrupt aluminum factory. He later established Pramac in 2018.
The company rose to become a large aluminum supplier for many manufacturers at home and abroad, establishing partnerships with major brands such as Heineken and Coca-Cola.
Its 20,000-square-meter factory has total investment of US$20 million, capable of producing 60,000 metric tons of aluminum per year.
