The signing ceremony, held on Feb. 10, marks a new phase of cooperation between ACCV and two Korean-invested manufacturing enterprises operating in Vietnam. Under the MOUs, the parties will collaborate on assessing and advancing RTS combined with BESS models, with the aim of improving energy efficiency, enhancing operational stability, and supporting broader sustainability objectives.

As renewable energy capacity increases in Vietnam, RTS + BESS is gaining attention as a solution for industrial and manufacturing users. Integrating battery storage with rooftop solar systems can help businesses manage peak load periods, increase on-site consumption of solar power, and maintain a more stable electricity supply. The approach may also assist enterprises in addressing electricity price fluctuations and meeting evolving carbon reduction requirements.
The MOUs with Nosafood and Speed Vina align with ACCV’s strategy of working with international partners to combine technical solutions and financing models in response to Vietnam’s energy transition. The year 2026 also coincides with a period of deepening economic ties under the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Vietnam and South Korea, providing additional context for business cooperation in areas such as manufacturing, technology, and clean energy.

As a member of the Korean Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (KOCHAM), ACCV has engaged with Korean enterprises investing and operating in the country to explore practical collaboration opportunities in line with market demand and Vietnam’s sustainable development priorities.
“The integration of rooftop solar and battery energy storage is ushering in a new era for distributed energy,” said William Bruce Hicks, Chairman of Asia Clean Capital Vietnam. “Through partnerships with Korean companies, ACCV aims to bring RTS + BESS solutions closer to businesses in Vietnam, helping optimize energy costs, enhance operational efficiency, and support the country’s transition toward a more sustainable energy future.”

The MOUs establish a framework for further discussions on tailored implementation plans based on the operational needs of each facility, and may create opportunities for expanded RTS + BESS deployment in the future.
Asia Clean Capital Vietnam is the Vietnam affiliate of Asia Clean Capital. The company focuses on clean energy solutions designed to support corporate decarbonization efforts, including solar PV systems, battery energy storage, and related energy transition services.
According to company information, it has developed nearly 200 MW of solar PV and more than 30 MW of energy storage projects in China and Vietnam. ACCV provides financing models that do not require upfront capital expenditure from clients. Its portfolio includes projects with companies such as Mapletree and Schindler.
