The launch marks the hotel’s 23rd anniversary at 88 Dong Khoi Street, aiming to accommodate growing demand from business travelers, international delegations and local guests for venues that support multiple functions within a single destination.
The high-floor destination comprises a private event venue Altitude 23, meeting and event space Summit, and one of Dong Khoi’s highest rooftop bars Hai Bar.

Summit meeting and event space
Summit has five flexible spaces with natural daylight and views of Nguyen Hue Boulevard, Bitexco Tower and the city skyline.
The largest space, Grand Summit, combines Summit 1, 2 and 3 into a 197-square-meter space that can accommodate up to 212 guests in theater-style seating, 180 for cocktail receptions or 160 for banquets.
Summit 4 spans 90 square meters and seats up to 80 guests in theater format, while the 28-square-meter Summit Boardroom accommodates up to 14 people.
Summit 1, 2 and 3 can be used individually, allowing organizers to host plenary sessions, breakout meetings and networking events on the same floor.
The venue is designed for executive meetings, corporate events, international delegations, product launches, galas, weddings and private celebrations.
Summit expands the hotel’s event portfolio to more than 2,000 square meters across 14 venues, including the pillarless Grand Ballroom on Level 3.

“When we set out to renovate Level 23, we asked a simple question: what does Saigon not have enough of? The answer was space to meet—really meet—above the noise of the city,” said Chris Lee, Executive Assistant Manager of Sheraton Saigon Grand Opera Hotel.
“What makes Summit different isn’t only the view—it’s the privacy: a quiet floor, away from the lobby, where conversations stay confidential and attention stays in the room.”
Hai Bar – rooftop cocktail bar
Hai Bar is the hotel’s renovated rooftop cocktail bar, offering views of the Saigon Opera House, Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Saigon River and Ba Son Bridge.
Open daily from 5 p.m., the venue serves both leisure guests and attendees of meetings and events held on the same floor.
The name Hai Bar refers to “hai, ba”—Vietnamese for two and three, representing Level 23—as well as the English phrase “high bar.”
The venue offers 23 signature cocktails inspired by different regions of Vietnam, using locally sourced ingredients, house-infused spirits and contemporary mixology techniques.
Hai Bar can also host welcome receptions, networking sessions and pre-gala gatherings linked to events at Summit.

“A beautiful space is only the beginning—what turns a booking into an occasion is what we put on the table and how we serve it,” said Shardul Kulkarni, Director of Food & Beverage at the hotel.
“Your event doesn’t have to end when the meeting does: host your day in Summit, then, as the sun begins to drop, move your guests just a few steps to the rooftop for cocktails and a skyline finish.”
Altitude 23 private event venue
Altitude 23 is a 260-square-meter venue with panoramic views of Ho Chi Minh City.
It accommodates up to 150 guests for banquets or cocktail receptions and 200 in theater-style seating, and is used for weddings, anniversaries, private galas and other events.
Altitude 23 occupies the former Night Spot nightclub, which operated during the hotel’s early years.
The renovated venue retains elements of the original space while adapting it for contemporary events.
Its central architectural feature is a double-height circular atrium extending across two levels, with a sculptural chandelier suspended through the opening.
A mezzanine balcony overlooks the main event area, while a staircase connects the two levels. Floor-to-ceiling windows and an arched bay provide views of Bitexco Tower and the city skyline.
“Twenty-three years ago, this hotel opened its doors on Dong Khoi and became part of this city’s story. Now we open a new chapter in it,” said Julian Wong, General Manager of Sheraton Saigon Grand Opera Hotel.
“Level 23 was never really about height. It’s about perspective—a calmer, more elevated way of seeing the city we love.”
He said guests increasingly seek destinations that can accommodate multiple purposes within a single visit.
“With Level 23, we have created a high-floor experience ecosystem, where a meeting can flow into a celebration, and a business gathering can end with a quiet moment against the city skyline,” he said.

The launch of Level 23 marks the hotel’s third major development in less than a year.
In September 2025, it opened the Grand Opera Tower, adding 120 renovated rooms and suites. The development introduced a “hotel within a hotel” concept, featuring The Salon private lounge and interiors inspired by the Saigon Opera House and Vietnamese craftsmanship.
In May 2026, the property became the first Marriott International hotel in Vietnam to receive LEED Gold Certification under the LEED v4.1 Operations and Maintenance standard.
The certification evaluates the environmental performance of existing buildings in areas including energy and water efficiency, indoor air quality and waste management.
According to the hotel, the launch of Grand Opera Tower, the LEED Gold certification and the opening of Level 23 are part of its ongoing investment in accommodation, sustainability, and meeting and event facilities in downtown Ho Chi Minh City.
