The company’s efforts in environmental responsibility focus on sustainably sourced ingredients, innovative packaging solutions, and renewable energy.
Sustainably sourced ingredients include the development of a cage-free egg ecosystem. “This initiative not only aligns with global commitments to sustainable sourcing but also addresses animal welfare and environmental concerns, earning strong support from environmentally conscious consumers,” said Anil.
In packaging, Mondelez Kinh Do is advancing recyclable and compostable materials, aiming for 100% recyclable packaging by 2025. The company collaborates with partners such as PRO Vietnam and local recycling leaders to drive a circular economy and reduce environmental impact.
Renewable energy initiatives include solar power projects at manufacturing facilities in both the North and South. These projects contribute to operational efficiency and the company’s commitment to carbon neutrality.
