The agreement supports Ghana’s target of processing up to 100% of its cashew output locally while promoting industrialization and value-added agricultural production.

The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Andrews Osei Okrah, CEO of TCDA; Her Excellency Florence Buerki Akonor, Ambassador of Ghana to Vietnam and Malaysia; Alexandra Asiamah, Head of Chancery of the Ghana High Commission in Vietnam; together with the leadership team of PSL Machinery.
Under the partnership, PSL Machinery deliver the A-to-Z Cashew Factory Solution, covering the design and construction of entire cashew processing factories, advanced cashew machinery installation, green factory solutions with solar steel buildings, technology transfer, and full factory management. PSL Machinery will also provide kernel-buyback programs to ensure stable market access and sustainable long-term operations for processors in Ghana.
The collaboration also includes land assessments, infrastructure evaluation, workforce training, and the establishment of standardized processing models that could later be replicated nationwide.
Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Andrews Osei Okrah affirmed that PSL Machinery is the key strategic partner capable of helping Ghana achieve its national processing targets. He described PSL Machinery as one of the world’s leading providers of comprehensive A-to-Z cashew factory solutions, specializing in building cashew factory, advanced technology, full cashew factory management, and sustainable industrial development.
“From our assessment, PSL Machinery possesses some of the most advanced technologies currently available for the cashew industry,” he said. “We are keen to build a strong partnership to modernize and strengthen Ghana’s cashew processing sector.”

Both sides also emphasized the importance of inclusive and sustainable growth, including plans to support cooperatives, smallholder farmers, women, and young workers through training and skills development programs.
The partnership is expected to contribute to the development of Ghana’s cashew processing sector while highlighting the growing presence of Vietnamese manufacturing and agricultural processing technology in international markets.
