The forum, scheduled to take place at Vinpearl Landmark 81, is initiated by VinVentures, the venture capital arm of Vingroup, and is positioned as a platform focused on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and private capital trends in Asia.
Held under the theme “Vietnam’s M&A Moment – The Unseen Dynamics,” the event is organized by VinVentures in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology, Lotte Ventures and Impact Square.

According to the organizing committee, Vietnam is increasingly viewed as an attractive destination for technology investment and private capital in the region, supported by economic growth, digital transformation and the expansion of the country’s innovation ecosystem.
The event is expected to attract participants from Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Taiwan and Vietnam, including representatives from investment funds, corporations, financial institutions, technology firms and startups.
The program will feature six panel discussions covering topics including business valuation, M&A strategies among Asian corporations, changing priorities in private capital markets, the role of policy in facilitating transactions, and startup strategies related to scaling, partnerships and exit planning.
Organizers said the forum will also include networking activities aimed at connecting investors and businesses and supporting potential partnerships and future transactions.
According to the organizers, Venture Forum is intended to become an annual platform for discussions on M&A and private capital in Vietnam, while strengthening links between Vietnamese businesses and regional as well as international investors.
Speakers confirmed for Venture Forum 2026 include Chris Freund, founder and managing partner of Mekong Capital; Andrea Campagnoli, founding partner of Bain & Company; Ngoc Nguyen, deputy editor for Vietnam at DealStreetAsia; Le Han Tue Lam, CEO and managing director of VinVentures; Jun Sung Bae, executive director of the investment division at Lotte Ventures; Maxx Tsai, director of corporate strategic investment and M&A at Advantech; Shigeki Kanemoto, head of Vietnam investments at Daiwa Corporate Investment; and Timothy Do, CEO of Impact Square.
